What is an insurance broker?
It is often said that consumers are best served through independent insurance brokers. However, most people don’t know what this means or why a broker is a better option. In this blog we will cover what an insurance broker is and how they can serve you better.
What is an Insurance Broker?
Insurance Brokers are licensed professionals who act as an intermediary between you, the consumer, and the insurance companies. Brokers possess in-depth knowledge of insurance products like endorsement 13d and 27, or Guaranteed Replacement cost, or Single Limit. We also can clearly explain the difference between Liability and Comprehensive coverage. Yes, there is a difference!
Crossfield Agencies Brokers are proud members of the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA). IBAA, identified by the purple stylized symbol wrapped in a blanket represents the brokers dedication to consumer protection and trust.
